  • For performing the Schalm test

  • One milk sample (approx. 2 ml) from one udder quarter in each immersion
Technical info
  • Application:
  • Pre-milk the first three cell and germ-rich sprays into the pre-milking cup
  • Milk a few milk sprays from each udder quarter into the appropriate areas of the test bowl
  • The excess milk is poured out up to the line by tipping the test bowl
  • Add the milk test with one stroke of the dosing pump
  • Mix the milk and the test fluid by making circular motions with the test bowl
  • After approx. 10 seconds, the result can be seen
  • Empty the test bowl after use and rinse out carefully with fresh water
  • Note the results on a check sheet to detect the problem animals early and reliably
