- The device is clamped in the vice before use
- Choice of pre-assembly sleeve and counter plate depending on pipe outer diameter
- Assembly by pumping on the mounting handle
- During the assembly process, the working piston moves along with the pre-assembly connector and centres the pipe, cutting ring and union nut in relation to each other
- In the final stage of feeding, the cutting edge of the cutting ring enters the pipe and a visible material accumulation occurs
