| Long description | Shell Rimula R4 L oil protects low-emission engines under demanding conditions by using "Low-SAPS" additive technology. It offers resistance to decomposition under high temperatures and reduces wear and deposits, improves efficiency and extends engine life. Harmful acids generated during the combustion process are controlled, reducing accumulation of acids and chemical corrosion on bearings and metal surfaces. Thanks to its advanced low ash content, it prevents blocking or clogging of exhaust after-treatment devices such as catalytic converters and diesel particulate filters (DPFs).
