Wasp foam for controlling wasps in nests
Properties
  • Schopf wasp foam is a new product for treating wasp nests on and in the house
  • Product composition: transfluthrin, tetramethrin
Technical info
  • Use the biocide safety
  • Always read the label and product information before use
  • UN 1950
  • Instructions for use for nests in cavities:
  • Using the included spray tube, spray the escape route of the nest until the cavity is sufficiently filled and the escape route is barricaded.
  • Instructions for use for free hanging nests:
  • Spray the nest from the outside from a distance of approx. 2 to 3 m, until it is fully covered with wasp foam.
  • Do not remove the nest after treatment, as wasps not present during treatment could still fly back to the nest. They will then come into contact with the residual active agent.
  • General instructions:
  • In nature, wasps are placid. However, near houses and gardens, they can quickly become a danger when they feel threatened, for example, by children playing. Wasps can be aggressive. Wasp nests should be treated at low temperatures (i.e. early in the morning or at twilight), because most of the wasps are resting and thus are in the nest. When treating the nest, wear protective clothing (long-sleeve closed shirt, gloves, long trousers, face protection and robust shoes).
Benefits
  • The foam barricades the entrance to the nest, preventing wasp attacks
  • The foam expands in the cavity and disperses the active agent uniformly
  • The foam works safely by acting immediately and breaks down after a short amount of time, thus it does not need to be removed
